CEI’s Next Generation Learning team offers an exciting opportunity for Colorado schools to learn about measuring students’ non-academic skills such as civic, personal, professional, and entrepreneurial competencies.
“Schools can no longer focus only on academics. Today, successful students require a broader set of skills,” said Next Generation Learning director Samantha Olson. “The pilot will help us learn how having data about non-academic skills impacts student, teacher, or parent decisions about learning or instruction and what supports are needed to make good use of these data.”
The pilot includes four different tools to help schools measure these outcomes and covers the cost to use the tool by the end of the 2016-17 school year. Participating schools will also receive reports and, in some cases, educator and student training. To be considered to work with CEI through this project, schools must submit this RFP by Friday, January 15, 2016. For more information, email Sarah Forbes.
