Granby Elementary Selected as One of Colorado’s Healthiest Schools

Granby Elementary School was the recipient of a Healthy Schools Award given by the Colorado Education Initiative (formerly the Legacy Foundation), during the Initiative’s annual gathering at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Denver on April 17. The school was chosen from hundreds of applicants and earned one of 40 monetary awards, $500, to be used to promote Granby Elementary’s plan for a healthy school.

“It’s the partnerships with our school community, PTA, and our many families that continue to move our school forward in a healthy direction,” said Granby Elementary School Principal Jane Harmon.
